Bishop Wade E. Harris has served the community of Salem, Oregon in the capacity of Community Liaison, Licensed Adult Foster Care Provider, Licensed Foster Parent, President of CRAWL (Community Recover and Wellness Living) Transitional Housing, Mental Health Partner, Drug and Alcohol Counseling Partner and founder and Senior Pastor of Seed of Faith Ministries for 25 years.
He is steeped in the community as a Senior leader, partnering with over 20 community partners to bridge gaps between the community and resources. These partnerships span from United Way, the City of Salem, Oregon Health Authority and many more to provide affordable housing, employment, food, daily living needs and healthcare.
Bishop Harris has created and house multiple programs across all ages at Seed of Faith Ministries’ multisite locations, 1230 Winter Street NE, Salem, OR (headquarters), 1760 State Street NE (Outreach and Performing Arts), Seed of Faith Ministries (Albany, OR), 853-873 Medical Center Dr. NE (Wade Harris Outreach Ministries, Medical Center) and scatter transitional sites throughout Salem, OR. He also has a vision for church planting and leads six churches in Uganda, Seed of Faith Uganda, and has purchased land to build a school.
It is his endeavor along with his wife, CoPastor Evelyn McCoy-Harris, to serve the Lord as strong community leaders unhindered from the world systems. Bishop Harris is a proven leader and creates opportunity for others to spread their wings and fly of whom others has left behind and forgotten. His passion for the unhoused community is powerful and impactful and has gained the attention of the State of Oregon in multiple capacities and abroad. He is sought after to teach wealth workshops; real estate techniques and church start up, maintenance and growth.
